Life happened and you worked through it. You stopped, became still, openend, trusted your gut and finally got there. After the grinding, the repetitive strain, the cord-cutting of the old stuff, the screams of release, the bliss of relief, your courage and hard work got you over the finish line. Your Souls’s fire resurrected you and you feel rebirth happening. You are true and new. Proud that you broke through your old beliefs and habits.
All great, nice and super….. and….. now what?
First and foremost be kind and gentle with yourself, let me repeat that; be kind and gentle with yourself. Let this profound change sink into your cells, completely. Give yourself sufficient time to recuperate. Do what you need to comfort yourself. Be still, treat yourself to a movie, a nice walk, or head for the sea, whatever soothes you. A shift of your self gives you many new ways of seeing your surroundings, and yes, the grass is greener, your eyes are looking brighter today. You will notice so much more. Now what?
Keep it up and be prepared for some constriction. Expect to fall back a little, cause you will, and be incredibly compassionate when this happens. It’s the pattern of really big change, it’s ok, it’s ‘normal’.
What happens; slight constriction, return to expansion, even lesser constriction, back to expansion, expand, grow, grow some more. You’re learning how to be the new you. You’re acclimatizing to your own truth. And that’s just how it is supposed to happen. Life goes on and eventually you’ll forget for a minute that you’re more powerful than you have ever been. And you’ll dip into that old pattern or habit. You can get unnerved by the stuff you “thought” you just left behind you. No worries, you are on track, doing all right. You may be testing yourself. You may even be trying to sabotage yourself. It’s okay, because you can step back into your ‘new you’ more easily than before. Powering up is getting easier.
Just stop yourself for a minute, become still and open yourself.
Can you feel it? All you need to know is that power can be unsetteling, even terrifying and newness is a mind trip. Remember how wobbly you were when you learned to ride a bike or went ice-skating for the first time? Stuttering with your new you, the inner strength it brings, doesn’t make it any less real.
You can decide to write down your transformation and write out new ways of being. Like for instance: “I speak my thruth, even if it means standing alone” or “I feel power in my voice, I’m truly free.” Write about your revelations, about your new way of doing things, just try it on for size.
And above all; acknowledge your breakthrough.
Remember the magic moment when you woke up and recall how the light filled you. And keep calling on that light. Keep opening yourself, into your power, using your power.
Focus on opening and stay with it. Let this newness turn you on. Remember that your cells are constantly renewing (physiologically speaking, you are not the same human you were a year ago, all of your cells have turned over.) Just believe me when I’m telling you: it’s impossible to turn back to your old ways once you’ve seen your own pure light. Just stare into your own heart and you’ll know what I mean.
